Artelice Patisserie Review
9.5/10. Super polished patisserie right by Windward.
Before the review, just know that Artelice is an incredibly well-rounded patisserie. I highly recommend bringing their other deserts to any LA dinner party as they are a surefire hit. Located just 4 minutes away from Windward (my high school) in Sawtelle's Japantown lies an over-polished patisserie that serves delicate deserts in addition to some shockingly good croissants. I've only tried the chocolate croissant, and it does not disappoint. Wonderful presentation, immaculate flake. The perfect amount of butter. Perhaps the chocolate could be more spread out but other than that this is an absolute master class. Dude at the counter also gave me a free macaroon. Do beware Artelice does not open until 9:30am, which is on the later end. The positive? Fresher pastries later in the day. If you're on the west side of LA give this spot a try.
